Poland: Gdańsk Airport named among top 5 best in the world

Gdansk, Poland – Gdansk’s Lech Wałęsa Airport (GDN) was named as the fifth best airport in the world and number two in Europe, according to the seventh annual study of AirHelp, released a few days ago.

AirHelp’s ranking is based on passenger experience taking into account several factors, including on-time planes performances, service quality and the offer of food and shops on site.

Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport named fifth best in the world

The airport of Poland’s northern coastal city of Gdansk, which offers both domestic and international connections, is only surpassed by Qatar’s Hamad Airport, crowned number one in the world, Tokyo International Airport, Athens International Airport – all of those three have taken the top spots in AirHelp’s ranking since 2015 – and the Alfonso Pena International Airport, in Brazil.
